CSA Distrbution

May 6th was the first day of handing out our Early Spring Greens Share to our members.

This weeks Share included lettuce mix from Morning Star Farm and Ojo Farm, salanova (frilly, crunchy, flavorful small compact), baby romaine lettuce heads, baby carrots from Zitros Farm in Chimayo, rhubarb stalks from Chimayo and assorted mixed greens and herbs from Morning Star Farm.

“Thank you for a wonderful start to the 2020 CSA season. Everything is beautiful, fragrant, delicious. You can feel the love in every little leaf. Congratulations and thanks to all the farmers. The way things were set up was easy, welcoming, and safe. It is also good to know other products will be available. Many thanks.”

We offered other local foods beyond what was in the CSA share. We had fresh baked olive bread, cranberry-walnut bread, blue corn meal, grass-fed & finished beef and bison, pinto beans, FarmHouse-made granola, potatoes, tomatoes and much more.

In collaboration with New Mexico Farmers Market Association, we are able to accept ETB/SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks for our CSA and grocery items. This is particularly helpful in our community.
